KEF Enrichment Programs

KEF Programs Count on You

Kensington Education Foundation's annual Fall Pledge is officially underway! KEF’s enrichment programs provide hands-on learning experiences for our students. These classes and resources complement the school’s curriculum, ensuring all students have access to a well-rounded education. This year is no exception, with Art, STEM, Science Lab, Library, Reading & Math Support, Physical Education, Playworks recess support, and more! These programs are 100% parent-funded. The Fall Pledge campaign helps us narrow the shortfall between state and local funding and the true cost of a Kensington education. To keep these wonderful classes going, we need you! Make your tax-deductible donation at FALLPLEDGE.ORG

Enrichment

The Kensington Education Foundation raises funds from the parent community to provide enrichment programs designed to create hands-on learning experiences for the students of Kensington Hilltop Elementary (KHS). Classes take place during the school day and include:

  • Art
  • Science Lab
  • STEAM (K-3)
  • Library
  • PE
  • Performing Arts (Grades 4-6, Fall only)
  • Music & Rhythm (TK-3)
  • Playworks (recess support)
  • Running Club
  • Math Olympiads

We believe these classes complement the district’s educational curricula and support KHS students with a well-rounded selection of programs geared to encourage excitement for learning and cultivate interest across a range of areas.

Academic Support

In addition to the enrichment programs KEF provides, we also aim to provide district teachers with extra support in math and reading for students during the school day. KEF provides qualified staff to work closely with students who may benefit from these programs to make sure they receive the attention and support they need to thrive and achieve grade level skills in school.
